Thanks for the suggestion I will look into Wiki apps. I'm all in favor of what is best for the BMW community. I do plan on hosting this project on my website as open source for those interested in learning.

EDIT: I am editing HELLA text so it will be easier to translate to German, French, Spanish, Italian. FML hella work so the updated screenshots are going to have to wait till tommorrow ;(

Lists a fair bit of stuff, good work mate. My comments so far

no support for iphone6
library icon in tabbar doesn't show
the blue background in your oc launch image doesn't match the blue background of the rest of the launch image.
its bimmer not Beamers'
when going to links user agreement it crashes the app
when going to user support it says nsurlerror

That being said, it's still valuable experience if you want to get into iPhone development.
As a developer of mobile apps I too think this is the way to go.
Good idea, OP. I think every make/model should have an app like this for those who want to DIY and save some money. I would imagine this could be HUGE if you compile all of this information together into a single app and list different makes and models. Let me know if you want someone to help you without compensation. I am all for the learning experience since I haven't worked much with iOS, but will eventually have to for my career.

I was going to suggest that you sort your informatio based on chassis or chassis and year. I think in some of your early screen shots that you had links to e9x DIY's and E46 DIY's on the same page. It might be easier for the user if they could select which chassis they had as one of the first screens, and then they would only see the DIY's that applied to them. It would be nice if the app would remember, that way you wouldnt have to tell it all the time. Most people only have one BMW, but for those that want to see more DIY's it should be easy to switch chassis'. You could also have the app allow you to select more than one chassis, or simply have a option for "show all info".

I recently purchased a usb to obd II interface so I could start coding. I figured out how to code my DRL's. I like the DIY approach to the coding things, but as a new coder I found the extent and ambiguity of the capability of the coding software to be a bit intimidating. If you could simply list the function of (most of) the modules and the options within them, I think it would take alot of the guesswork out of coding for the "softcore" coder.

I've only skimmed over your thread once a long time ago and once again now, and unfortunately I do not believe in Apple products so I can't see your app in its current form.

My bad fellas. The BMW Gods will punish me brutally for not having one of my tab icons displaying at the bottom. I will submit an update later today.
