Koni sports adjustable adjusting
is it possible to adjust koni sports shocks without the adjusting unit? I don't seem to have one..

An ordinary pair of pliers will allow a user to turn the valving adjustment shaft. The adjustment shaft's protruding end is shaped like a flat blade screwdriver, albeit a small one. Assuming the suspension has proper travel, a good starting adjustment point is to make the front dampers one or two "clicks", so to speak, stiffer than the rear dampers. If general ride comfort is at all a concern, making the rear more compliant than the front will achieve this.

doggg, thanks for reply. The problem I am having is that I don't have the manual for the product because I bought it new from a private party. and I only have the rears (part number 8040 1271sport
As you can see in the picture, there is no flat screw driver like tip. Instead, there is a hex shaped hole that I could fit a hex key into. Is that how I would adjust the damping? |

Rears are compress-to-adjust. You have to take them out to do so. They can't be adjusted via a knob unlike fronts.
