You may get a better turnout if you are critiquing Penthouse Letters.

Re-reading ANY Vonnegut book is NEVER a bad idea! Love his books. I found them very "easy" to read, but still captivating. Even people that don't read a lot of books can read HIS books and get something out of it.

Hey, Honey!

Yes, Kurt Vonnegut was an avid cat photographer. The entire book is a lengthy metaphor about the depth of love between humans and cats. There's a cat orgy chapter that you don't want to miss.

So, I finished the read a couple of weeks ago...my review: still a really great book.

Now, I'm onto The Sirens of Titan. In it, you'll learn about the chrono-synclastic infundibula, ripped off later in a Star Trek movie.

Follow the adventures of the richest man on earth, one who happens to own a spaceship. Nice!

(Oh, I'm also reading "Shadow" by Bob Woodward...seems very interesting so far)

Did we decide not to have weekly meetings?

I didn't go through with this title, been finishing up The Wettest County in the World. Yes it does sound like an instant classic and addition to Griffin's Must Read list, however sadly it's not. Was the book that Lawless was based on; 2012 film with Tom Hardy, Shia LaBeouf, and Jessica Chastain. Saw the film and felt compelled to read the story it was based on as I figured the movie would have only been able to do so much.
