Yeah it's the Australian army flavor, a lot of guys model their builds after it. I certainly plan to, though I might not do a forest camo.

there's something really badass about a capable vehicle that looks like that on the outside and this on the inside

No it's nothing spectacular but considering what the vehicle can do off road I wouldn't expect a whole lot of amenities.

Oh this is way later, it'll have to come after I get a home capable of housing this menagerie of vehicles.

Cool. Say hello to Peter Egan if you meet him. I love that guy's work.

But the best part is the doors. Unbelievably solid. I could just stand there and open and close them. Nothing else like them. Quote:

I was always a fan of the G-Wagon. Could never own an SUV as a DD though. I hate large vehicles, especially with high center of gravity. However, if someone handed me the keys and said "it's yours" I'd find a way to look past all of that

![]() ![]() I can't think of any situation where the G63 is the best option. It isn't really superior at anything. It masquerades as a functionalist vehicle but the AMG version is anything but. |

I don't think the G63 even makes the pretense of being "functional" at least as an on-road vehicle.
But it's stylish and fun, and that counts for a lot on a forum where most of us drive cars that are a good bit less functional, and a whole lot more fun, than a Honda Civic. |
