The interior is clean, but nothing too special, don't you think? Chris Harris also seemed pretty lukewarm on the whole vehicle.

No it's nothing spectacular but considering what the vehicle can do off road I wouldn't expect a whole lot of amenities.

Yeah you don't want anything too fancy, assuming you use the vehicle the way it was actually intended and offroad it, you don't want to get mud and dirt all over some snazzy seats.

However the AMG interior is pretty gorgeous,

It smells better than it looks. So much leather it's like a cow exploded in there.
But the best part is the doors. Unbelievably solid. I could just stand there and open and close them. Nothing else like them.

I don't work in the office--and neither does Peter--but I'm a huge fan, and I can't wait to say hello for myself. I got to spend some time with the great Sam Posey for the Fitch story, and I was like a 12-year old girl with One Direction in town.
I hope to do work that'll help carry on their legacy.

I was always a fan of the G-Wagon. Could never own an SUV as a DD though. I hate large vehicles, especially with high center of gravity. However, if someone handed me the keys and said "it's yours" I'd find a way to look past all of that

The counterpoint to that is the Range Rover. I bet the normal full-sized RR is more capable offroad than the AMG version of the G wagon, and look at its interior.



I can't think of any situation where the G63 is the best option. It isn't really superior at anything. It masquerades as a functionalist vehicle but the AMG version is anything but.

I don't think the G63 even makes the pretense of being "functional" at least as an on-road vehicle.
But it's stylish and fun, and that counts for a lot on a forum where most of us drive cars that are a good bit less functional, and a whole lot more fun, than a Honda Civic.
