cord snapped on passenger side near rear window

hey guys, wondering has anyone else top has had this problem and what can I do to get it fixed. when the top comes up a small piece of the top does not secure properly, near the back passenger window. it seems that a fastener connecting the cord has broke. now I'm taping the top there, so it won't hang loose. my top is only a few years old, and the motor is almost new. I'm a perfectionist and this is driving me nuts!
