I think, outside of the gym, the only times I've worn a hat is when I'm sick or when I was driving ATVs through the jungle in Mexico.

The Cubs has nothing to do with baseball and everything to do with hanging out with friends and drinking.

You of all people should know this

Don't tsk me. I said I don't support losers (the team). I appreciate the outdoor bar known as Wrigley Stadium, but you'll never find me in Cubs gear.

I'm of the ghetto sentiment wherein hats have to be fresh and aren't something to get beaten around, so I never wear hats to the gym; my sweaty head would ruin them.

Fitz is great, but the Regent is a bit smaller in the shoulders and has a 7 inch drop on the waist. It's a little more of a Euro style, and a little smaller than the Fitz - but I didn't like how baggy the fitz was on me compared to the glove fit of the Regent.

That being said I'm a 40R and I prefered the fit of the Regent to the Fitz in that size. I think the Regent is double vented while the Fitz is single vented, but for most people I can see what you are saying. Not everyone likes really fitted suits.

A lot of people like the Regent's fit "right out of the box." I don't think my local BB even carries the Regent in a wide variety of sizes, so I've always gone with the Fitz when I can. I generally wind up having the jacket taken in quite a bit so it fits closely. Maybe if we ever wind up with a broader selection of Regents at my local store I'll wind up being a fan.

I don't think I'm skinny enough to fit into a regent, but I'll check it out next time I'm in a BB

Posted on previous pages about a briefcase for the wife. Thoughts on this one - I'm able to get it for 35% off. Not familiar with the Bosca brand, seems to be decent quality in person though.

They get converted to what I call "white boy hats." the brim is bent and they're worn in situations where I know the hat's gonna get messed up (e.g. playing beach volleyball).

And some people say lawyers have no souls. I think they might be right. I don't go anywhere in the winter without my hat...

I'm being serious too

It looks pretty nice to me. That's the thing about leather goods--I think you have to be able to handle them to get some sense of whether they're any good or not. If it looks solidly constructed and the leather is decent, then it's probably a good bet, especially at 35% off. Just for perspective, go check out a few bags at twice and half the price level, to see how they compare. Then you'll probably get a better sense for whether the Bosca bag is a a good value.

eBay is so frustrating. Neither Japan nor Germany are within the continental United States.

So lame. They really ought to have fixed that by now.
