No one has ever been forced to be a "slave to the corporation," either.

If the right to work is such a bad thing, then why do most of the states that have the law seem to be doing better than states without it ?

I begged the differ. Some employment contract states that union membership is a requirement for employment. Other contract will not require union membership but requires mandatory union monthly payments.

Why r liberals so against choices? Should they want workers to be able to choose between wanting to be part of a union or not.

Btw...unions are against secret ballets during the voting unionization process. They want to see what employee wants to be in a union or not.

At first brush that sounds fine and good to me, but I'm honestly not too informed on the effects of such a thing.

The state with the highest unemployment is a RTW state? Obviously right to work destroys jobs and impoverishes people.

I believe it works because it attracts industries that would not necessarily be interested in big union states like Michigan, New York or Indiana.

BMW has a manufacturing facility in South Carolina and Boeing recently announced that they were building an assembly plant there. Do you think that having a RTW law had anything to do with it ? I bet it did. Sure, the economic incentives the state threw in were a bonus, but I am confident the RTW law had an impact as well.

People can choose union or non-union shops.

And again, since the UAW is such an amazing organization, they're still going to keep bringing in all the money they always have!

I'll be so happy when the republicans get everything they think they want.

Maybe the entitlement mentality will end, and they can celebrate like rockstars (minimum-wage, part-time, no-benefits rockstars).
