It's been a while since I updated this.
Since the car was taken to the dealership, it's had a new fan clutch, thermostat, and oil pan gasket. Today I also installed a set of AL headlights to replace my ZKWs. Big thanks to Drewdown for all the help with the under-hood work ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() A picture of Drewdown's nuts |

Thanks!
![]() No - it was still tight and I didn't want to mess with what wasn't broken. Problems with 2.5s are rare (if even existent) and there's always the SULEV warranty haha. I don't know if that'd cover the OPN or not. |

Awesome work
![]() This may be a noob question, but what exactly is needed for the 330 brake conversion? I imagine the kingpin is the same between the 325/330, so you just needed the new calipers, pads, and rotors, yes? Could the same be said for the rear brakes as well?

The rear brakes are more trouble than they're worth, in my opinion. You need new parking brakes, trailing arms, calipers, etc. |

![]() My car got a few Christmas gifts...e90 style wheel caps, an aftermarket PDC system with the OEM rear bumper strip, 5000K Philips 85122CX bulbs, and a black BMW plate frame ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The color of the bulbs will get better after they're broken in, but they already match my previous Philips 4300K bulbs

You have the front bumper and rear lip spoiler, now get the rest of the MTech 2 body kit.

I didn't say you need to buy it, just to get it. How you get it is up to you.

Some updates: -ET was leaking and was replaced...again -Thermostat was leaking and also replaced...again -All 3 diff bushings were replaced; thanks to Drew at Swift Motorworks for the parts and install advice/help! Here's the source of the infamous rear end clunking: ![]() ![]() ![]() -Also got it coded for Stage 2 and 3 Brake Force Display thanks to cyberkaa ![]() And that's about it. Other minor stuff but nothing of too much interest. I need to start getting it cleaned up for Bimmerfest |
