This legislation simply gives the choice of the worker to join the union or not. What's wrong with that? I thought you liberals loved choice....choice in abortion, gay marriage....but I guess choice whether or not to join a union is too much.

I'm starting to think Lair isn't even a liberal. Just a culmination of everything wrong with liberals but none of their positives.

Apparently people (republican voters) are dumb enough to think that they're now free to have a high-paying union job without belonging to a union (because US corps are KNOWN for paying wages they don't have to pay).

It's a race to the bottom, and the union haters are paving the way.

Anybody have an ETA on the length of time it will take for all those union-free companies to turn Detroit's economy around?

It would be done a lot sooner if the illegal aliens would be deported for doing jobs without permits, without liability insurance, without paying for a business license, taxes, being paid substandard wages in unsafe conditions and making the US pick up the tab for their medical needs.

But hey........the Hispanic community is the fastest growing voting block and a politician will do anything for a vote ........right?
