Should i get this 96 Estroil Blue M3?
I'm looking for a DD and was wondering what your opinions were on this car.
1996 M3 Estroil Blue, 154k miles, Luxury package, One owner, Garaged and well cared for, All paperwork included. He's asking $6800 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks again!

That price is great! No accidents right? I would get it inspected and go from there. I'm not a huge fan of the luxury package but nice find!

whats included in the luxury package? i've seen different m3 seats before, is that the sports package?

The seats will not be the coveted 'vaders,' the front bumper valance thing features slats in the center and there should be faux wood trim in the cabin.

It's a good buy only if the engine hasn't overheated (look for signs of coolant stains or overheating) and inspect front and rear shock/strut towers as well. Also inspect rtab pockets.
I notice you say this will be a daily driver. At around 150k is when the entire car needs to be rebuilt from the ground up. Control arm pair is $500 (without bushings) and will definitely need replacing (for starters). Buying a used E36 M3 with that kind of mileage on it is an absolute expensive commitment. Just be prepared for it. Cannot--I repeat--CANNOT just buy this car for asking price and drive it.

^ok thanks. You're right, a lot of things will need replacing even if it was in mint condition. I'll ask if he has maintenance record.
