Front defroster issue
Ok...So I finally got where my ac/heat heat is working ok, (after changing outside air temp sensor) but now whenever I turn on the main/front defroster it will only blow warm air, no matter what the temp is set to. Ideas? Thanks as always.....

Just the front defroster vent blows warm air or all the vents blow warm air? If the former, that is by design.

It seems it's just the defroster vent....I can't imagine why a front defroster would always blow just warm air. It makes it really uncomfortable in the cabin if it's warm/hot outside.

front defroster/defogger vent should close when your not using it. That vent should only open when you actually hit the defogger button on your console.
Under normal use when cooling that should be closed and only your front vents (facing out towards you) would be open. When heating (not defogging) the floor vents should always be on. |

Well, you can turn the switch off. Or turn your AC on if it is hot outside.
