Question for the ICV gurus..
I've got an idle that occasionally hunts between maybe 400 and 800 when the clutch is in approaching stops....after 5-10 seconds of this, it eventually lands at 700. Done some searching and this is apparently fairly common. I've got the ICV off and have it as clean as possible. It rotates nicely when you shake it. I've tested the resistance values and they are 12/12/22...way off spec of 20/20/40, but others have had similar specs and had no issues. My question is this...With the ICV unplugged and out of the car, where should the spring loaded "door" sit? Mine is neither fully open or closed, but somewhere in the middle. I plugged it in and turned the ignition on and it buzzes, but the door didn't move from where it was when unplugged. Anyone know if the location of the door is normal behavior?
Cheers,
Mike
