Guys my wifi is horrendous

Anyone else having issues with signal ?

Did you update to 6.01? There was a patch to fix wifi.

My wifi is so bad that I stopped using it and only use data now. I don't have unlimited and I am cutting it close to the limit. I did update to 6.0.1 and that made it worse. It was better before the update.

dude since i got mine replaced my battery life sucks balls. and for some reason when i try to open a picture in a text message it wont open. any ideas? more info on why restoring as a new phone works better?

Not sure exactly- and I'm not sure that anyone is. It might have something to do with setting hangups from previous backups- but honestly my battery life was never bad. It's just really, really good now. However some have fixed atrocious battery life by setting up as new. Just back up all your notes and contacts to the cloud and it won't be a big deal.

Have you tried having a genius look at your phone? Have you restored it since you bought it? It sounds like you have a number of screwy things going on. I've never heard of the text/picture message problem.

I stated this earlier in the thread. For me the range is horrible. Router is downstairs and with my 4s I could get signal on the 3rd floor of my house. Now with the 5, I lose signal in my room on the second floor. When it's connected it works fine, but I wish it had better range.

Didn't notice any difference with my phone when I updated to 6.0.1. I use mostly data now also, but only once have I ever gone over 1gig in a month; my plan is 4gigs/month.

try restarting your phone if all fails.

my wifi is fine. i actually think is better than the 4.

Yes. It fixed my iPad 3 wifi problem but not my iPhone 5.

It's weird it doesn't hold the signal well.

Never had this issue with iPhone 4.

Maybe my iPhone is a dud?

Quite pleased with my i5. Got it launch day, battery is acting normal now. (no crazy leaps or hiccups) and wifi seems about the same if not better than my i4. My ghost armor is also still flawless. No case other than the armor film.

When I have wifi I use 50/50 and my usage is about 1gb a month on data. But all data I'm at 2gb already and have 15 days to go. I have 6gb but its fairly slow.
