Bros need advise

So my buddy calls me up saying his e36 (325) won't start I went over and it seemed like the fuel pump went out because I wouldn't hear it prime prior to ignition but took a video and let me know if there is anything else I might have to look at thanks

This would happen to my friend's e39 all the time. He spent hundreds from OEM fuel pumps to sensors but it turns out the fuel filter was the issue. it was so old that it deteriorated and blocked passage of fuel to his car. He often had to leave the key in "ignition 2" for upwards of a minute before even getting an attempt at starting the car. Im not to sure to be honest and I dont want to mislead you, just trying to share a story that might help your situation. Good luck to your friend.

Go buy a fuel pressure tester. It costs as much as a fuel filter and will tell you for sure if it's your fuel system, and you also get to keep the tool for future use and for other cars.
