Newbie seeks indie in SE MA or RI

I purchased a 2004 330xi recently (as in I have had it for two days) and am looking for a reputable indie in SE MA or RI.

I've turned most of the wrenches for my current and prior 911s (1993 C2 and 1988 Carrera 3.2 respectively, but please don't hate me for having owned Porsches!) so I am comfortable with anything I can do with my tools and soon-to-be mid height lift.

Am looking for someone who knows E46 cars and will provide the straight scoop.

Looking for a resource to do what I either cannot--due to lack of knowledge, tools, or time--primarily drivetrain. Would be great to find a good body shop--both for the Bimmer and the P-car--paint, scratches, etc.

I do anything mechanical. But I don't touch bodywork at all.

Phil,

I've seen Dave's work. He changed out RTABs on my friend's ///M and was quick and very professional. He is very knowledgeable and is awesome to work with

Dave doesn't need my recommendation as he has worked on a lot of other people's BMWs over the years

Just wanted to add this.

Thanks for the input, gents. Body work is much lower on the priority list than drivetrain work. Having said that, Leominster MA is ~90 miles from my home, which is not feasible for me.
