are you sure it has the HK package? or just the HK covers? IF it does have the HK package along the function buttons (drop your top, tire pressure, etc.) you should see a speaker button. as for the sub and amp, the sub should be located in the middle of the back seats where the optional ski bag would be. just pull out the front cover where the hooks for your seatbelt harnes are, and you should see a sub. for the amp ive only seen it mounted on the top of the trunk, but this would be a problem considering we have the little storage compartment for our verts. to be honest i havent seen a vert with the HK package, can someone on here shine some more light on this subject please!

Jut had a look, I don't have a HK button or a tire pressure button. But mine is a 2001 so may be different?
But the place where the skis go thru is open for skis!
Are the HK systems any good? Would I need a different head unit?
Does it really need the sub and p to be half different.

When I was younger I would be all about my systems but now I just want a half decent one will full or
Most use of my trunk

you dont have the tire pressure reset button? i thought all the E46s no matter what year had it. im not sure i havent been in a car with the HK system, but it would be a upgrade id assume. or you can do what most vert owners do that want a system is put in your own sub with a custom box. i was thinking about doing it but my funds just wont allow me to do it....for now. from the number of people that do their own conversion i think the verts just didnt come with that option, im not too sure.

I believe they did, when I sent one of the fanatics my vin, he pulled my car up on the BMW database.

One of my verts factory options is the HK system. Tomorrow i'm picking it up, ill takes pics and post if anything.

Verts don't have a speaker button or at least mine doesn't because there no room between heated seats, dcs, tire pressure, sport button, top up and top down.... But it does have the sub where the ski bag is.

06 Vert with HK. No speaker button, no sport button, sub is in the skipass, there is a tire pressure button (plus dcs, heated seat buttons, top up/down), etc.

I'd go check, yet I'm lazy so I'll ask: Does the sub block the skipass? I'd rather have that convenience than the sub, and all Canadian M3s came with HK standard AFAIK.

No. The sub opens with the door to the ski pass and does not block it.

Convertible never had the speaker button, tire pressure button online when rdc or rpa was ordered option. my convertible has stock HK system, obviously no speaker button and no tyre pressure button as my car doesn´t have the runflat option onboard.

Just look on your door by the handle if it says HK then you do, and as far as that subwoofer is concerned if you want more bass they're are plenty of alternatives....
this is what I did in my trunk and then with the center pad just to let a little more bass though. The OEM subwoofer didnt do it for me at all.
