A squat rack, bench, and a bunch of weights is all you need.

So fvxking pissed. Brought pizza home tonight and I brought salad home with it. Wife starts giving me sh1t about the salad. Saying I am going to weigh 160 and look like a high school kid because every where I go I order something weird. Which is not true. I have 5 guys. I will eat pizza tonight. Turkey burgers Veggie omelettes and spinach on my sub are considered weird. Do I look small? Look above. I am gonna sit on my ass and drink beer all weekend. See how she likes that.

And in exercise, swimming is the best cardio / calorie burning exercise out there and there is little to no impact on joints. I've been a swimmer my whole life and definitely recommend it to anyone looking to shape up.

This is interesting to me as a lifter. Do I want to "feel" lighter by being stronger/more balanced, bodyweight exercises, etc?

Or do I only care about an artificial "number" which represents my health? On one hand it is an easy benchmark that can indirectly indicate fitness. Or I might sacrifice everything else to reach weight.

Drinking water and green tea often is a great way to lose water weight, that's about it. Needs to be coupled with proper diet & excercise (just like everything else) in order to lose fat.

Rohde, by standard BMI chart all guys who are advanced lifters are in the "overweight" category.... just something to think about. Not all pounds are the same
