trunk release with key only
The trunk will only release with the key. Remote, lid switch and under dash button do not work. Valet proof is not the problem. What test can I do on
the micro switch to isolate the problem? No fuses listed on the sheet in the glove fuse box. grdg |

Pull the wire harness next to the right trunk hinge down. Just pull the rubber boot off the body and check for broken wires. Very common issue.

Not much wiggle room with the wire bundle. The rubber boot is ripped so this may be the problem, thanks.

Did you by chance lock the trunk? You know if the keyhole position is to the right, then it's lock. You can only access it with the key.
