Was 2012 a good or bad year for you? - Page 4

2012 was literally the worst year I ever had in my life. Without a single doubt. I'll do a brief timeline of it since I consider ya'll my e-fam. It went well in the beginning. Started my own business. Made a 6 figure salary. Went on a business trip, made one of the poorest choices I could ever have made in business, business went down from that point on. Broke up with my girlfriend whom I was even considering to marry. Dog of 15 years died while I was away on a business trip, RIP Sabrina. Still think about her daily. Business basically got bankrupt. Had to go through court for about 3 months back and forth. 2012 sucked a big fat d!ck but I can't say I didn't learn anything. I might have lost everything this year but in a way I feel like I gained everything mentally. I learned A LOT about life this year. Friends, Family, etc.

TLDR- Worst year I had in my life. Lost close to a 100,000$ cash, my bestfriend/dog I had for 15 years died, my gf and I break up, lost my business, ended the year with legal battles that I won though.

2012 was a great year for my investment portfolio. I am still waiting on my annual statement but I think I netted a 25% return.

One of the best in my life.

Started off in Jan breaking up with gf of almost 3 years which sucked for a few months but then I realized how happy I was. I continued to make progress in the gym, made awesome new friends, did amazing things with all the people I love, step dad finally moved out and freed up some money for myself, hooked up with a decent amount of slores and am now "dating" a pretty awesome girl.

I definitely grew up a lot this year.

Took some cool pics

Got a feature in complex mag

Became a contributer for vouge

Got a job working in R and D was completed an amazing project

On the downside I did get my license suspended and my best friend died.

Huge transition year in my life. Ended a 5 year relationship, graduated college, decided to stay in New Orleans instead of going back to New York, recently started dating another girl. Big year for me.
