I'll keep an eye out around the city for it. Likely to turn up dumped.
I take it they had the keys if they also had the owners wallet? |

I don't get how dumb thieves are. We have 24 hours security where I work, and the amount of times that footage has led to/helped thieves being busted is amazing. No brains some of them.
Of course there are probably heaps of other times cards have been used at my work and not been followed up is probably a lot too. Good luck to Ian. |

Thoughts go out to the owner, I've been in a similar position.
I'll keep an eye out if the car makes its way to Sydney or Newcastle.

I had a 2 week old GTI polo stolen and burned out by the side of the highway when up there on a trip. They broke into the house and stole only the keys!

Will keep my eye out around the Sunshine Coast. Serious lack of European cars around here so this one will stick out like a sore thumb. Hope it turns up unharmed!

That sucks. Hopefully they find it in one piece. My mates car got stolen not long ago. I'm not joking, the cops found it dumped in some derelict suburb with a porno mag and a box of tissues in the back seat. We had a few laughs that's for sure!

Sorry to hear. This really sucks. Even if it is recovered, it's probably been flogged and mistreated...it will never be or feel the same again.

I'll keep an eye out.. If my car ever gets stolen, I hope no one posts a thread about it.. Last thing I'd want is the POS back |

Update from owner:
Today marks the sad 14th day period since the 330 was stolen from my property. I think that's it! She is gone.... probably found on the street sometime or so I'm guessing as I think it's been used as a luxury summer break ride for some grub. Here's a message you might want to post for the members: Don't leave your keys unsecured in your home. The grubs know they can't get your car because of the great security, unless they have a key, so they steal it from inside. The thieves who stole my car, came back 4 days later to get my car as it wasn't in the garage at the time of the key theft. This is very unsettling as it appears they have been watching my activities around the home or at least taken an opportunity to steal the key then come back later for the car. It is only a car...... but...... it was precious to me as it represented who I am as well as 20 years of hard work and savings. Plus I'll probably never buy better value than I did with this car. Thank you for posting the loss on the forums etc. We believe the car is still in use around the Northern suburbs of Kedron and Chermside plus it was used towards Logan.... what a surprise! etoll records.

should not be to hard to track down, the streets of greater brisbane arent exactly lined with e46 convertibles, but down the gold coast?,well it would be lost in the crowd.

I know they are different wheels but apparently this one was involved in a 'chase' before they binned it into the fire hydrant..
