Chipping a 2000 323?
What's a 323 owner to do? My 5 speed 2000 323 ci only has 40 k on the odometer and drives like a dream. I have no desire to swap out the motor but I'd like to increase the power as much as possible.
Has anyone chipped their 323 and if so, what product did you use and was it worthwhile? Also, other performance enhancing suggestions are welcome. Thanks... |

Headers and shark injector. Chips don't really work on our cars. Look into both items mentioned. They'll give your ride a bit more pep.

well our cars don't do a replacement "chip" per se, but software. but I got what you were asking. the M52BTU (which is the 323) does respond better than the 325/330 to software. but still nothing huge. you can get a custom tune or generic tune from Conforti SHARK INJECTOR. intake & exhaust aid the gains of the tune. underdrive pulleys help a tad but I'd save that for last.
you can do a lower geared diff ratio like 3:46 that helps performance, although nothing to engine.

You can run a Conforti Shark Injector to increase power on your E46 323i. The Shark injector will not only re-map part-throttle fuel and spark, it also re-maps acceleration enrichment, transition fueling, and Vanos control.
