^ The X3 bulbs are Philips Silvervision PY21W. Can be had a bit cheaper through VW (part number: N 102 564 04) or under the Philips brand itself

huh? I've ran my old bulbs and a set of chrome stealth bulbs and my DEPO corners are fine. No melting. No idea what you're talking about.

Back on topic, to quote myself, at one point, there were stealth bulbs sold under the Genuine BMW name:

Maybe you don't drive your a lot a night? Mine have definitely deformed and fog up whenever it rains.

i have Depo R/C/R tails, depo clear corners and OEM clear side markers that i got from the dealership cheap, the Depo's hold up great, have bought them for all the e46's ive ever owned without any issues, and i also have the X3/x5 silver bulbs that blink yellow in the fronts and rears, love them.
