Yeah please show me one picture of these cracked, because i've yet to see one. I've installed these on 4 cars and they work perfectly fine. The only pictures i've ever seen of cracked headers have been Supersprint.

im from nc and i was just wondering for all of you guys that are from cali why not switch out the headers every time its time for inspection instead of worrying about buying aftermarket cats to put on it
i think that would be your best bet
and what intake should i buy bc i want the sound or should i just make my own ive seen some diy threads

a lot of people dont DIY, and to take out the headers everytime and to reinstall the new ones again once done will run $1000+ from a professional shop

and to add to the thread:

so far 16K miles on my ebay headers with no problems.

How much do you charge for an install? I have JVT headers. I also have a supercharger installed which should not make a difference cuz nothing new is in the way.

I'm looking for these ebay headers. Apparently, there are a lot of different options on ebay, but none seem to match the description posted here.

I skimmed this thread, so if I missed it, im sorry. But this is probably a stupid question anyway.. How did you get it to dyno? I tried to dyno mine yesterday and couldnt go past 6400 rpms. I heard you gotta hold the DSC button for 8-10 seconds before starting, so I held it for 9 but it didnt work. I waited 5 minutes with the car off, then restarted it, and still was in the 'limp' mode or whatever its called. It didnt get out of that until I drove away.. I hit 265hp/236tq @ 6400rpms.

If I remember correctly, when you are on the dyno, you need to shift through the first 4 gears. Once you are in 4, leave the car in gear and turn it off. Turn the car back on in a few moments with the car still in gear. At that point, I believe it should be in dyno mode.

this. u dont have to actually leave it in gear though.. just get up to speed in the gear you are going to dyno (usually 4th), and just shut it off and back on while still rolling (clutched or in neutral) then back into gear and then do the pull

24 whp just sounds wrong for that kind of money.. Makes me kinda choked about my agency headers that I had to negotiate 400$ for (mind you they are perfect.Meh just glad I got em.. Can't wait for my garage to clear up and have the snow leave for more fun times
