Will look much better in production. Nix the jaguar vent, the fake door handles, and the Dyson intake and diffuser.

Well I guess we know where BMW is getting their styling cues from now. The side vent thing is hideous. The tail lights are bulbous, too big, and just plain ugly. The headlights are kinda cool, that's about it.

I agree about the interior, it's stunning. I think the rear bumper may be the worst part of the car though. On its own it looks fine, like in the picture from the other thread. Coupled with the car and I feel it is just so far from flowing in any way...

I didn't like the E60/E90 generation of BMWs generally but the E92 was and is the standout. I don't think the E92 was cookie cutter. It was a trend setter. The LCI E90 M3s look mean too, I'd put them as a close 2nd.

Edit: Never mind the front bumper is worse. They're in close competition though...

honesty, i know this is the e90 but i don't think you could find a worse bumper than this one



at least the 4 is as aggressive as the rest of the car, where this is just... clunky bumpy and looks like a lego car.

the bumpers are a bit extreme, and i am still adjusting to the newer styled bumpers. since the e30, the m/mtech bumpers always has the same exact look, one big air duct, one to each side with integrated fog lights. it was perfect, but with the new style, i am a firm believer that they made this car look almost as good as it can. if anyone could think of a better design, i seriously would love to see it, i'm not saying that in any b*tchy kinda of way either.

and lets be honest, until you see the final 100% finished product, IN PERSON... all criticism should be kept to a minimum. Given what i'm looking at, this is my next car.

My head is spinning from reading the hyperbole in that article. It is still a 3-series coupe. No need to fancify it. I don't care if you call it the 4-series. But portraiting it as something more than a 2-door version of the 3 is silly.

I see a scary resemblence to the Accord Coupe. 4-series still looks better. But way too close IMO.

That interior is absolutely insane. BMW Individual seems limitless when it comes to textile combinations. Always was a sucker for a very good brown leather.

I really like the front end, especially the headlights. And I really hope those wheels on the concept are released as an option, because they are epic. The taillights look great as well. The one thing that I do not like at all is the length of the car. I always thought the e92's rear quarter panel looked too long, but this one looks like it will be even longer.

I really like the e90 335i lci. That will probably be my next purchase.

The headlight minor changes they mentioned almost save the 'connected' look that I can't seem to get over on the F30s. The only thing I dislike about this car strongly enough to mention is the rear valence. It's too busy for my tastes. Not to mention, those bumpers can not possibly be cheap to replace with all that detail, and forget about non-OEM replacements...

So when are us e46 fanatics going to get LED lights.

The pics of the 4er concept really got me excited. I hope the production version gets toned down just a little bit. I'm not really feeling the side vents, so i hope theyre gone. I'm not sure I'm liking the LED headlight. I saw it in person on 640i GC, and i dont really like it. I hope bmw changed the driving dynamics to make it a little different than the f30, especially the steering. At first i thought the magazine reviews were exaggerated when they said the steering feel was too artificial... Until i drove the f30 myself. E46 was slower but much more fun to drive. I hope bmw remembers their ultimate driving machine motto from a few years back although I'm not getting my hopes up. Look at the m5 and its fake exhaust note

Nice car, but don't really like how they're making there cars so big and bloated. Maybe the 5 or 7 series but the 3's replacement?! I thought 3 was suppose to be sport/compact somewhat. I guess that's why the have the 1 series now. Hmmm

really loving that interior shot...

They better keep it similar to the concept. Looks amazing!
