My Ride: slower than yours
free country lol

I remember we were walking alongside Atlantic City boardwalk and after putting the pack in my pocket and giving each of us one candy, an old man jumped from the bench and asked us for a cigarette.
"Hey, can you spare me a cigarette?"
"No sir, we don't have any."
"Come on, I just saw you's, can I just get one?"
My girlfriend started saying "These are not cigaret..." but he cut her off and blurted "I don't care, I'll try anything!"
So I gave him one, and he said "OH..." with the most dissapointed look on his face "...it's candy!"
"That's what we were trying to tell you, sir"

And then I ate 'em all.

srsly they're delicious, yeah I would pretend as a little kid "oh look at me i have a cigarette" but after like 3 seconds you kinda just bit into it.

Agree 10000%. Brother

Take these things off the shelves

My kid was given them at a birthday party. I grabbed them and threw them in the trash

My kid knows smoking is disgusting and will tell you to your face. Lol

Yeah I've gotta agree JJ. I'm actually surprised at where you draw the line sometimes. What about cap guns? Or water guns? Don't they encourage kids to play cowboy and shoot the bad guys or shoot their friends? So we should take those away too, right?

Its just more PC bs...there's no reason these candy cigarettes should be banned. I used to have them as a kid, and I've never picked up one in my life. And there are millions more like me. I just don't get it.

I had a lot of these as a kid. My parents would buy them for me without a second thought. This is not a gateway to real cigs. This is a gateway to obesity. I just kept craving sweets. I started with a stick, then 2 then 3. I then went through a pack. My parents got worried and started giving me carrot sticks to stop the cravings. Get real people!

Ban playing cowboys and indians, ban playing cops and robbers, ban winning and losing!

I'm surprised by JJ's response too. For someone who is so open to personal freedom and liberties.

You've obviously never had the ones that actually puffed out smoke if you blew through them.

a bunch of high school students went towards a council for this? What a bunch of losers with too much time on their hands. I smoked these candy cigs for years, and I'm not a smoker. What a joke. Chase is a Racist, Obama, Democrats, Republicans, Lair, Mexicans, Beans.

Hopefully the store wont lay down, and this will go all the way to the USSC. This will umbrella bloombergs banning the large sodas as well. No one should be able to tell a store what they can and cannot sell providing it isn't a controlled substance, and last time I checked, bubble gum wasn't on the list...but but but...think of the children. Next, toys R us wont be able to sell those nerf suction cup guns because they are fully automatic weapons.

Once again, libtards flushing our rights away one at a time. Candy cigs lead to smoking, rock candy leads to crack, and nerf guns lead to AR15s.

Its your job as a parent to keep it away from them, not the governments job to keep it off the shelves. If I gave your kid a bottle of jack and a pack or real camels, should we ban those too? Your train of thought (guns and this) is not linear...you can't be for "freedom" of one and not of another. If you are all for gun rights, then you are all for a shopkeep's right to sell whatever they please, so long as it is legal. You cant cherry pick liberty at your convenience. Banning these gummy cigs, banning mcdonalds, banning tv, banning violent videogames and banning soda have equal good intentions and merit.

good for him, but that's your job as a parent to teach your kid good vs bad habits... not the government's.
