What do you guys think about this oil?

There's a local "German" car repair shop here that uses this oil for M3's. I'm always second guessing these types of shops, this is why I wanted to get some opinions. I'll likely use the Tws oil...Sounds like you guys are on the same page...

First off, don't ask what oil to use on this forum. You're just gonna get flamed and start arguments. Second, why that oil? Because its cheap? Third, just use bmw oil, it will save you from headaches from what not using the "correct" oil can cause... Whatever that is...
There are about 10000000000000001 threads on what oil to use. Use vegetable oil idgaf

ORLAMF or, roflmao lol. There is a thread on another forum where I guy sent off some liquimoly GT1 10w60 to get an oil analysis done. I'll will let you know the results. I also know a guy who races his e46 m3 often and uses the Liqui with ZERO side effects.

I used it once when I didn't have any Castrol TWS - worked fine. That said, I have used TWS for every other oil change.

Just add some Lubegard Bio and BG MAO and youll be fine.

This is what the Bmw dealer gave me, at $15.XX a litre, you're right, if you can't afford to get the right sh!t for your car, don't drive one!

Liqui Moly Race Tech GT1 10w-60 does meet the M-Motorsports oil requirements for the S54 as well as the S62, S65, and S85.

I love when mofos act like they're on some high and mighty sh1t cause they have expensive oil they paid dealership price for.
Really rich mofos stay that way because they spend wisely. Why pay $16 per L when u can pay less for an M and BMW approved oil? Hell. It's even made there in Germany. Unlike castrol. I personally like it because its a German oil. German car, German oil. German wife. I like my German stuff. I also like saving a few bucks on my oil change. Keep being a sucka and overpay like its cool or some sh1t

^^Haha, well put guy. I don't brag about having money or think it's cool to buy some thing just because it's expensive. I shop at Ross and I try to get what's best for my car. I have 3 high performance cars and I don't treat them like crap. If I'm going to pay an extra $30 for the oil that's recommended then well, I'm paying a little more brah! I have a 12 yr old M3, high and mighty, well, not so much.

you can find the castrol for under $10 if you shop around ahead of time. i bought some for $9 a quart on craigslist.
i know a lot of people use liquid moly on bmws (not necessarily e46 m3). if it's approved by bmw, why does the engine specify castrol only? |
