Omegas are really nice, one of my friends is a collector and he always makes money on the Omegas he buys. I wish I could trust myself with a daily piece like that, but I destroy everything which is why my F1 merch Jaques Lemans (lol) is about as deep as I can get for everyday. The solid gold Whittnauer my long deceased uncle gave my long deceased dad as a gift for being his best man lives in a safe deposit box at the bank and only makes it out for occasions like my own wedding as regardless of book value that bad boy is priceless.

I want a Sinn next, not too pricey, very durable (made for US Special Forces).

I like the second one. I also like the one Devious21 has, and I would get one as a dd. But I wanted this Omega for 17 years. I think I've waited long enough.

I have this one. Worked well for my needs. I haven't used it in about a year though.

As I read, no watch is actually made for any special forces. Probably the closest is going to be Marathon, Suunto, Timex, Citizen, etc... Mostly very average or practical stuff, and not many fancy automatics or anything.

If you want pricey, look at Snap-On, Matco, or CDI's digital torque wrenches.

Not sure I'd get the Craftsman. I consider it in the cheaper category like Harbor Freight, and part of the $70 price is for the name and part of the price is for the plastic handle that doesn't do much and is just overlaid onto the regular metal handle. Also, Craftsman torque wrenches are also probably made in China, and they only have a 1 year warranty.

Really, it's a toss up in the air as to which affordable torque wrench is better.

No on the craftsman torque wrench if you want something that lasts. I'll be replacing mine with something better soon.

I don't think they would want an automatic. Quartz is widely considered to be the most accurate (by a few seconds per hour or day, but I imagine those few seconds are critical in that kind of field). Even a $50 quartz will be more accurate than the Omega I want. You're most likely paying more for the craftsmanship (or the metals/stones used) when you're buying into automatic/mechanical watches. That much I know, lol.
