Greetings board....

AARP member - so don't break my bones. BMW club member for years now, board member of our local chapter. Semi-retired - but I still play with cars.

Just got my first E46 this week. 2005 330CI Coupe, SMG, metalic blue, tan sport seats, 88K miles.

Other current BMW cars:
  • 2013 X1
  • 1989 635 Luxury (currently on consignment for sale)

Previous BMW carsL
  • 1974 2002
  • 1999 M3

Current non BMW cars:
  • 2007 Prius
  • 1974 TR6 (sold not delivered)

Love the X1. It is my wife's car. Technology is overwhelming. She got the X Line package.

Having the motor stop and start by itself takes a bit getting used to, but you can shut that feature off if you don't like it.

Overall - so far - great car.

What kind if MPG are you getting in the X1? I was looking into getting my wife one of these in replacement of her Jeep.

Only 400 miles on it - not really taken it on a trip - but about 25 right now, using it as a grocery cart. Judging on what I've seen, I'd expect over 30 highway.

Now the Prius gets 50 easy - anytime - anywhere. In fact the 2007 Prius is actually bigger than the E46.
