First of all, feel in love with the e46 platform after driving a friends 323ci.

Now in the market for a e46.

Got 3 im considering.

1. a 2000 323CI with M bodtkit and rims. Problems its a rebuilt title and 180K miles. Positives new tires and driveshaft. Wants 4199, I was going to offer $3500. Too High? Leaves me with $1500+ to upgrade the car or for furture repairs.

2. 2001 325CI clean title 143K. Newer tires, Clutch, and routine maintanence. Negative it's got the e46 quarter panel rust spots wants $5600 but will take 5.

3. 2002 325I Clean title 144K. Rim upgrade, new tires, new clutch, maintanence, etc. Needs brakes and it made this noise when coming off a rev from 1500 rpm's to idle. Is that possible bottom end problems or do the e46 have any rattle problems down at that range? $5000 is about his floor also.

All vehicles are manual, I loathe an automatic.

These seem to be the best of the best in my price range.

Welcome to the forums. My dad just bought a new F30 335I and he's selling his 99 328I for around that price range. It's a 5 speed with 98000 miles. He's the only owner. Let me know if interested.
