I normally mount it on my windshield. This is the first time I used it outside of the car. You can see the string attached and running up the roof and down the sunroof. I trust my GoPro suction cup now

Does anyone on here use the GoPro for mountain biking? I just got a Hero3 black edition with a handlebar mount. Hoping to make some biking videos soon. What do you guys use to edit your videos? This is a quick video I made using iMovie, nothing special just a quick trip to the store.

I use Adobe Premiere Pro but don't do anything special. It's just easy to do basic things with it. I've done some mountain biking and dirtbiking with my Hero 2.

Slightly OT, but there's an mtb thread: http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=757441

If you haven't already, please post pics of your mountain bike and info about your favorite rides in addition to your upcoming vids.

Foxconn purchased a sizable chunk of GoPro around Christmas time. Interesting...

http://www.forbes.com/sites/ryanmac/...a-billionaire/

I wonder if this will delay or eliminate their planned IPO and/or have any effect on manufacturing.

I want to get where that guy has in life. He went from living in his van selling beads to find an idea that just netted him $200M for an 8% stake by another company.

Seriously^ I'm so jealous. Its a simple idea and he just dominated the market. The name "GoPro" was a good choice as well. I remember watching a segment about the company on some discovery or history channel show.

If I ever become a billionaire I'm buying every OT regular a new car.

Does anyone think it is strange that GoPro.com and other online retailers didn't have the Hero3s but Best Buy had them in stores for the holidays?

I don't know. I think some stores bought to many and couldn't sell them because... They are kinda of expensive. Worth it for me tho

Picked up two gopro silvers. Need to get some suction cups for them. Where's the best place to get them from, or is it the same everywhere?
