Just saying it's a hassle is a weak argument, and the analogy has some holes:

-you can't carry spare gas tanks with you
-you can use that same analogy to argue why larger clips are bad: Imagine a gas tank 3 times what it could possibly hold. Still functions, just annoying to lose so much luggage/passenger space.
