lost of torque after done remapping.

i recently doing remapping for my e46 325i 2003,is because i found the car get no torque at all,after doing the remapping,the car gain abt 12 bhp,i can feel the car is gain torque and faster than before,the car is responsive and the engine and gear change is very smooth than before,but after three weeks,the car has lost everythings and even worst than before,i am quite upset,can anyone got this experience and give some advise?

Not sure what exactly you remapped (spark, cams, F/A?) but you might have blown something inside the engine or fried your cats. A lot the times the sacrifice in torque is intended to protect components or keep emissions within check. If you didn't clear out diagnostic code when you were 'remapping', is the SES light on? Any codes?

I'm curious to know what you used to remap it with? Are we talking encoding the DME with Euro software or are we talking bit level programming within the DME?
