E46 330d...has my turbo gone?

I purchased the car a few days ago, didn`t notice the noise on the test drive, it goes well and doesnt burn any oil.

See what youy think?

It's a diesel! WE in north America did not get that. What kind of turbo is it? I work on VW diesels, but, they are different. For us, it would usually be the actuator or the variable vane mechanism that has frozen.

Good luck, and I am jealous, would own a E46 diesel in a heartbeat.
