The hard driving finally caught up to me
After about a month of clunking I decided to get power flex subframe and diff bushings and the subframe reinforced.
We found this little surprise on the rear left subframe mount. Before they coated the welds Came out to about 1300 with parts and labor. Totally worth it in my opinion. Car feels brand new

why i check my car on a seasonal basis for things like this.
glad they could fix it though. may i suggest installing a reinforcement kit.

Those welds are comical.. also that floor pan should have been replaced. I hope they didn't just patch up that hole.

Is there a way to visually inspect this? After 200K+ miles I feel a little clunk every now and then and was hoping it was only worn bushings.

You have to jack up the rear of the car and inspect the entire bottom

Yea that is scary, I am thinking about just taking my 10+ year old car and just trading it in now!! Let someone else worry about it. Dose anyone know if there is a How to on replacing all the differential bushings in the rear?

I wouldn't recommend it, those bushings are a huge pain in the ass.
