My Ride: 2006 M3
New Guy

Hey everyone, new guy here; I'm originally from DFW but I'm currently living in Omaha. I just picked up a 2006 M3 SMG in Alpine White. I'm coming from a C5 Z06 which was a great car, but a bit impractical as my only car with a wife and young son. The M seems like a great choice for a car that can pull DD duty and still be more than capable for HPDE, and so far I'd say it's more fun to drive every day than the Corvette was with the flappy paddles and steering feedback. I haven't taken any pics yet, but here's a couple from the dealer ad. I'm thinking the short list of mods will be black grilles, powder coat the OEM wheels, and carbon interior trim, and cleaning up a few imperfections. Anyway, hopefully I can learn as much about BMWs here as I have my other cars so I can once again tear apart a perfectly good car and drop tons of money on it haha.
