Grip pretty much was failing. Wish my hands were big enough to hook grip

Damn! Good job! Another 45 lbs. to go before I reach that PR. My hands aren't big enough for a comfortable hook grip either. Boooo!

But I have been starting with my butt lower. I think my feet may have been a little wide, which is why they bow in on the first part of the lift

Nice! I'm so uncomfortable pulling with that wide of a stance. I usually stand so that the inside of the knurling is lined up with the outside of my shoes. Hopefully that makes sense.

Sent from my SCH-I535 using Bimmer App

Good stuff op

I also use a more narrow stance/grip. Feels more comfortable and stronger for me personally (in respect to post above me)

My Ride: Too many to list
Deadlifting today. Trying to decide if I want to go for 400 today. 375 felt tough, but manageable, and that was a few weeks ago. Unfortunately the only shoes I have are my running shoes.. Would I be better off trying this without shoes?

I probably would. You'll get less of that "squish" feel from the shoes.

You don't really want to DL with running shoes generally speaking because the support isn't in the heel but the arches. Try going shoeless, or even a pair of work boots if you got'em.

Saying "was" makes it sound like it's not popular in bb now lol
