Higher tax rates do not equal tyranny, oppression, or the end of capitalism. This is not taxation without representation. The american people duly elected the all the folks in the house, senate, and white house who have passed this legislation. Maybe it isn't what you want (or what I want) but that is not tyranny. Stupidity on behalf of the electorate perhaps, but, not tyranny. We have gotten the govt we deserve. The govt we the people put in power and have the power to change. Your is counter-productive. I do want a fix and I have provided countless arguments against what's been going down. You can dislike my positions (as Busa does) but don't state that I'm out here simply defaming Obama.. I'm arguing the counter position.

You will find COUNTLESS posts on here where I've argued for higher taxes and LOWER spending. Busa will sit around and proclaim that the republicans are just trying to protect the wealthy by refusing tax hikes. ANY argument I provide for a spending cut will result in "well the little poor people won't be able to afford food" bullsh*t. It's just emotional on his part.. and I can't blame him because that's all that you see on MSNBC. Pundits b*tching on and on about republicans protecting the wealthy and trying to take away from the poor.

WE HAVE TO STOP SPENDING! And the spending tied so closely to the pandering that took place in this election. Obama presented it just as I have above. He claimed he wanted to take from the rich so that the poor could have their "fair chance". That was his simplified pitch for presidency. Now, why do we have to increase taxes? Because we have a deficit. Why do we have the deficit? Because politicians won't own up to the mess that they've created and CUT THE SPENDING. Instead, they wish to kick the can down the road further, pass the burden onto the next guy, and take all the glory for the handouts that are given out in the interim. Obama is a prime example of this.

Our politicians have failed to put together a budget for how many years now? And why? BECAUSE THEY WANT TO ENSURE MONEY GOES TO THEIR FRIENDS AND VOTING BASES. It's a system DESIGNED TO FAIL.

Fine. What would you like to stop spending on? How does it add up? I realize you're not a math major, but the math shouldn't be terribly hard and there are tons of sites that will help you. How will your cuts impact the economy? If the majority of the country isn't spending enough to fuel the economy what happens when you take a bit more money away from them?
