FS: E46 Coupe Speaker Door Pods - New
Any of you audiophiles looking for a pair of speaker door pods for your coupe? I bought these a while ago from another fanatic, but decided not to use them. Each door pod will fit Two 6-1/2" and One 4". These were purchased from estrictlyforeign.com by the first fanatic. I think that company went under though. I can't seem to find info on them any more. These will need to be molded into your existing door panels. I'm asking $150 shipped within the United States only. The pods How the pods should look on your doors basically The back of the pod The pod broken down How it looks on sedans. Will not work IMO Thank you for looking

If you feel the price is too high, then send me your best offers. These were twice as much brand new. The worst that I can say is no bueno.

Ok...Ive been searching for something like this for a long time now...but I do have a sedan...I know you said they have to be molded to the door panels, but will they sit flush on the sedan door at all? And what is the mounting depth for a speaker magnet? I am not wanting to cut, but I guess I will if I must.
Do you possibly have any more pics on a sedan?

Oh, also. The pics make it look like the door wont shut properly, do they not end flush with the door panels on the hinged side?

I can't give you an honest answer about the mounting depth since I never had them installed. Each pod is roughly 27.5" L x 13" H x 3" D and the wood is 1" thick. Maybe you can use these measurements to help with your calculations? I don't have any more pics on a sedan, but I can take some for you. Just tell me how you would like to see the pods on the door and I will borrow my friends car to take the pics. I was rushing when I took that shot, but I was pretty certain that the pod did not line up with the door edge of the sedan. Sorry you don't live closer, I would let you check them in person.

Thanks for the quick reply.
Id love to see them from different angles as to how they sit flush to the door and as close to the handle as possible so I can get a good idea how much they stick out on the hinged side. I am thinking I may be able to cut them and rewrap them...I dont want the lines of the interior to be all jacked up and now flow though. Do you think it to be possible?

You're welcome. That's definitely one of the greatest things about smart phones.
I don't understand your question exactly, but I would not cut into the pods personally. You may ruin what they were intended for. The pods are at my main job. I will try to have the requested pics by Tuesday or Wednesday for you. This will be my last response for the evening. I have to work in the morning. If I see any other questions or concerns from you tonight, I will respond sometime tomorrow afternoon. Later
