insane military perk spending

They are still trying to get that school up and running, I figured they would have given up on that project years ago. Its to close to "j" town, and I doubt we still have had any presence in there. I know the few times we tried we turned around.

Oh BTW I am from the DFW area too, I used to live in Hurst and Euless before I joined, my wife and I parents are there, she used to live in Arlington untill that hurrican flodded out there home in Sep 2010

please elaborate on your "boots on the ground" experience. I think you're referring to Swish here, but some of us "e46 Rangers" have gone out on patrols, weeks at a time, living in farm houses/out of vehicles, cleared villages, taken IDF, etc.

While plausible, id just like to see a timeline of her accomplishments and see how it all fits together.

that, and all that schooling must certainly rack up debt and not to mention the time it takes to earn those credentials while being in Kuwait and Afghanistan.

Here are some pix. I can't find my original COP Wilson specific pictures but when I do i will post them. You are right (from what I heard) COP Wilson turned into a FOB with multiple DFAC, gym and they even have their own LZ


The Pom are the best. I tried to sneak a few back to the states but got stop in Kuwait by those damn coast guard and navy customs.

I didn't realize they allowed contractors, that worked for USAID to be armed. Or USAID employees themselves.

I didn't know either. Hmm my stepfather is contractor in Baghdad and as far as I know he isn't armed.

well, plausible explanation is she was part of a security detail?

Most contractors are not allowed to carry weapons unless it is part of their contract and/or part of a security team (e.g. companies that provide security like Xe - formally Blackwater)

There are probably exceptions, but I can't think of any off the top of my head.

For someone that claims to have been out in the field those picture look like they were taken on KAF. The one picture is of Kandahar pomegranates with the signs in English. The rafters and wall construction also don't look so much outside the wire. Also the school picture has some soldier without ballistic gear or weapons and no security detail. Picture was likely taken at the school on KAF.

There are quite a few armed contractors. Not all are Americans aswell. I met a few Brits that were armed up.
