I think most who know what their talking about will direct you away from bushmaster and DPMS. DPMS has never been a good one to go with and bushmaster has gone downhill alot in the past decade or more.

The M&P line is superior to both IMO. Even the entry level "Sport" is a great rifle; I owned one and loved it.

I saw you mentioned CrimsonTrace, but I don't know that I'd pay anything additional for CT. To each their own, just trying to save you some duckets

No problem dude

If you manage to pull off an AK, a Pistol, a pump shotty, an AR, an optic, mags, and ammo for that, you've done well. And you will have FUN!

I must have missed that all together, thanks for point that out. The only difference is the CT sight is activated as you grip the pistol, I believe the Lasermax you need to press a button. Is that right?

Thanks for the input

If you want to run your rifle the normal way with no bullet button, you must have a non-collapsible stock (a2 style or pinned stock= OAL 30"). Can not have a pistol grip so you have to run something like what they call "monster man" grip and I believe you can't have a flash hider also. You can find a lot of info about weapons in CA on a forum called "www.Calguns.net"
Thanks man, that helps alot! Good looking out! I am hopefully moving down to the Escondido/Vista area next summer. My cousin lives in Temecula/Murrieta area

Ok so I had a slight change of plans and decided to get the Colt LE6920 and 2 - AK-47's. 1 traditional stock and the other with an underfold.

Total will be around 2300.00

Thanks for all the tips from everyone, I definately appreciate it!

Ha Ha I know but hey, at least now I have some good fire power should I need it

I will probably get the LC9 at some point down the road but for now im going to carry my XD-9. I also have a Keltec P32 I can use for carry. I have hallow points for the P32 because of the smaller caliber.

I would like a shotgun as well but for now im sticking to this decision and get these guns while I still can

Thanks for the help

Very nice choices. Those are the first to go if we get an AWB, shotguns and pistols will remain intact. BUY AS MANY MAGS AS YOU CAN. Use the rest of the 200 in your budget for those online black friday deals for mags.
