It's just so undersized in todays market..it looks like a girls watch now. When and why did watches go on steroids? It's sure does not make them more comfortable to wear.....but they are a hell of a lot easier to read for my old ass

Interestingly: when I bought this watch years ago, all my past watches had been quartz--much thinner, and much smaller. I put this thing on and it looked massive to me--I had never worn a watch that was this thick.

Now, of course, it looks like a kid's watch, but it's still a classic size.

Yep..I have a Movado from way back when.........Paper thin and comfortable as can be. I remember the Air King being a beast too

You either wear your watch on the wrong wrist, or you are a reverse-fapper.

I feel the black leather really helps accentuate the face, and creates a much more classic look. I think I already convinced myself typing this to make the switch.
I have the same watch with the silver face. Mine has the brown strap and I think the strap looks classy, but I do like the "H" in the Hamilton clasp though...

When I stopped in at Tourneau, they told me that they were giving free checkup on a watch for you, so I had them check my Hublot. Apparently, it is for everyone until Jan 31 if you have a tourneau near you.

hmm, good info, thanks. I wonder if this will help my prob. It looks like my Panerai 312 is losing like 10-12 sec/ 24hr. There's no way something is not off and the watch is only 8mo old.

Oie
Would you describe your daily routine as being "sedentary?"
When I drive to work and sit in an office all day, my watch loses quite a bit of time
And this worried me
But when I was walking more because of public transportation and such, my watch stayed right on time
These days, I am back to losing time since I don't even wear my watch all day

Not really. I mean I do sit at a desk for most of the day, but usually get up, walk around a bit around once / hr. Walk/public transport to work.

I thought about that too, but shouldn’t a 3-day power reserve keep the steady flow of energy into the movement?

I think I will get a professional assessment. People on the Panerai forum on WT have said there is no way at all that any high-end movement should be losing that much time per day...
