How can you even bear that? No trunk space and you can't hear the entire higher spectrum of your music over that.

Funny how it always takes you twice as long to do nearly every project. I did my cooling system refresh today and I swear my mechanical fan is as stubborn as me. Between the WD40 and a 3lb sledge hammer, it still took 20 minutes to break it loose. Even the radiator connections refused to accept the new hoses but it finally relented and all is clean, tight and bled. I cannot express how happy I was to run codes and only get those two dashes, no more thermostat codes. Thanks to Smolck and Mango for the knowledge.

Finally mounted my custom made oem mesh grill kidneys, wanted a different look but only using oem style components. Took a bunch of prototypes to get them where I wanted and still need a little finish work but they're super light and I'm satisfied with the looks...
And yes I know trim piece in light is misaligned, have a new set of lights I'm installing this weekend so wasn't worth opening again to fix that.

First Oil change since i bought it which was needed badly. The dealer said they had tuned it up and oil changed and evrything... 3000 miles later and my oil is already low and dark with no signs of burning or leaks anywhere? I think not. Dirty dealership. But after some royal purple feels like a new car.
Also put an ECS Tuning magnetic oil pan screw to catch extra debris the filter misses. And found out i hav a vaccum leak. Hopefully its something cheap like a hose or something like that or my mods will hav to wait even longer -___- |

Finally washed it. Fvck all this rain. Feels good to have a clean car again. Also had to get a tire for the 1 series and helped install a new e-brake on my buddy's mustang. Sorta productive day.

What did I do... First off eff ECS Tuning this week, I love them though. They're slow and lazy off vacay. I ordered a camshaft sensor and the O ring, OEM, yada yada, i get it with my kidney grills from a former fanatic -.-. (I have food poisoning btw but I just want to get the crap out of the way.) Turns out
they sent the WRONG sensor, so I call them and they tell me I have to buy a new one first, then they refund me. I'm $20 on my card because of the dang price on the thing..... Whatever, I've never had such little room to get that screw out of the sensor and back in, took me 6 hours of walking back and forth taking breaks, puking out front because I'm guessing my stomach didn't like being bent for so long. Thank god for a good DIY tip that helped me get the screw in. It's midnight, I'm sore and it just got put back. Thank God for extra tools or I'd have no luck because half of them felll at the bottom of the car! The seller of the grills told me they'd fit, so I'm pumped! They didn't fit. I spend $45 on shlit. Anyone interested? Could use a few prayers to get better! Moral of the story, I shouldn't have even bothered removing the sensor. |
