Serious Snowboarders : Please Identify This Board

Does anyone recognize this Burton Vapor? I haven't ever seen it before but it has vaportech on it. I've never owned a Vapor but have heard amazing things about their lightweight and workability as an all around board. This ones clearly a bit chewed up but for 250 seemed like it might be worth picking up.. the guy speaking with me about it had few details on it.,, didn't even know the year as it was a used board they got in on a trade

Also has a limited edition xxx/1000 run on it. Not sure what to make of it.

Looks like it's a 2007 Burton Vapor 159 special edition. I wonder if it's worth the 250 they are asking. Is a super high end board from 2007 better than a mid tier 2013? I'm thinking not.

I'd pass on that. Last time I checked a few months ago the 2010 vapor was under $500 new.

might wanna recheck that...
the vapor is 2010 was about $1k
it's $1200 in 2013

that board will be better than a midrange new board. assuming it's in good condition.

btw that infinite ride channel system is REALLY ahead of it's time in 2007. pretty sure the vapor was the only board to have that until 2010

agreed... and for 250 why not. ****, you can turn it into a jib/park board if you want.

nothing wrong with used boards IMO... I have all of my old boards, I still switch it up and ride them once and awhile or else lend them to friends when they want to ride, Yes they are "used", they are just more broke in.

You're correct the vapor in 2010 was $1000. When I looked at the outlet the price was $499.99

not usualy, and if I do its with my newer board . I never said used boards are awesome, just saying that there is nothing wrong with them. I don't know the OP's skill level, but if he's new and just looking for a board, there is nothing wrong with picking this one up... but I know where your coming from.

I stick to the pow pow.
