Will post pics when I get it all set up.
Combine the two. To strength lifts first then a metcon that incorporates the same movements.

Will do. I hope the switching between heavier weight at the gym and more rep intensive exercises at home will continue to shock to the body.

Any good sites with WODs that incorporate a more weight intensive routine than cardio?

I watched it last night, seems like it could be a good season... last one I stopped watching because it was a bunch of games and garbage instead of weight loss and fitness.

Very motivating show, even though I disagree with most of their nutrition recommendations lol. Lots of politics and marketing involved. Watching jillian scream at fat people never gets old though, glad shes back

The other morning at the gym I saw two strangers spark up a crossfit romance... One dude was going through his workout minding his own, when the other spotted him across the gym. Ran over and interrupted his workout to talk about how awesome crossfit is and how awesome he is for doing it. The dude seriously tried to become his best friend, to the point where the other was getting noticeably annoyed.

I have a tshirt from my good friends CF gym that I wear sometimes because it's comfortable as hell and I had a guy come up to me at a bar to talk about CF. I talked for a few minutes but then I got weirded out. I'm sure he was normal but I ran out of sh1t to say and wanted to talk to my friends lol.

Yea... lol, I bet. I've been in a similar situation. Sooner or later, the conversation will reach that "uncomfortable" point.

Check out crossfitfootball.com
They have a nice beginner linear progression for strength which resembles rippetoe's starting strength.
Then for their conditioning they keep it heavy, fast, and short. Which is perfect for strength and speed.

I did the "Cindy" workout last night. I'm strong but I'm not conditioned. Had a phone call afterward and was messing up words left and right.

I was at my apartment building's gym.

There were girls in the class area practicing the Thriller dance, so I was, unquestionably, not the silliest looking person there.

The class is Saturday at 10am. I'll be out of town until Friday evening, so I should be rested.
