^ sorry - that was in response to Dec re the fuel filter. Definitely worth doing if you are still on the original one.

And your balancing out the service items and inspection II items sounds good

Thanks. At least by Inspection II (100k's) I'll be more comfortable with cash.

Does anyone feel like changing the Vanos Filter for me? Happy to donate a couple of beers for the favour. I'm going to order one from Turnermotorsports.

Watch the video on ECS Tuning's website. It's a 2 minute job.

Ballistic - At what Kms did you change your fuel filter? Mine looked fine when I took it out and I noticed no differences when I replaced mine at 150kkms.

Although I always made a point of using 98 so maybe that's why it was ok :S

So far this is what's done:

Engine Oil & Filter (Castrol TWS)
Coolant Flush & Water Pump (pulleys replaced too)
Diff Fluid Castrol SAF-XJ+FM
All Fluids Checked and Topped Up If Necessary
Fuel Filter Replacement
Lubricate All Hinges/Door Locks/Tighten Anything Loose
Full Inspection of Car
Checked Engine Codes/Diagnostics
Checked Pulleys/Belts
Engine/Diff/Tranny Mounts Checked
Tested All Electrical Functions (Wipers, Lights, etc)
Inspected Exhaust For Looseness/Leaks/Damage

(All Genuine BMW Parts Used)

It'll be ready tomorrow.

Any feedback?

Pretty well covered there mate, if you want to get picky: Depending when they were last replaced, can take a look at all the bushings, guibo etc.

I assume the suspension was checked too? Have you replaced the RTABs?
