Anyone Tried These Specific License Plate LEDs?
I've been running the Khoalty LEDs for a while but now one of them is changing colors and wearing out from moisture (even though I replaced the lenses/seals
) I am curious if anyone has tried this particular variety of LED before:http://www.ebay.com/itm/2pcs-BMW-3-S...cbc07b&vxp=mtr Otherwise I'm just going to grab these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2PCS-BMW-E46...386bba&vxp=mtr I would run the old conventional bulbs, but they are very dim and I feel the make the car look unnecessarily dated even though it's approaching 9 years of age

Can't comment on those because I don't have them but has anyone tried the e90 stock led bulbs? I don't mean to thread jack, but those might be a quality alternative.

I used to run the ones in the last link, but they died rather quickly, and the light output wasn't *that* good or even either. Plus the color of the light had a tint of blue.
I then opted for a set looking pretty similar to the ones in the first link, and they are waywayway brighter, the light is crisp white and looks way better IMO. You can see them in my build thread here. Let me know if you want more photos.

Yes I'm running the E9x ones. But they don't fit the stock trunk but an oem CSL style trunk.

I've been running those ebay LEDs (2nd link) for over two years, no problems, very bright. Cheap enough to grab a couple sets for a spare too.

I got mine from this guy:
http://stores.ebay.com/BMW-LEDs?_rdc=1 He is easy to deal with, and the lights have worked perfectly for 3 years now. You can't ask for more than that. Also, he is still around after 3 years, which is better than most of the people who sell this stuff. Here is a pic, if you want to see how bright they are. Sorry it is not a crappy iPhone pic! ![]() ![]() Untitled by MJLavelle, on Flickr |

Try these

As for OP: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ls_o00_s00_i00 Try these guys, they are the same LEDs installed in that first link for about a 1/4 of the cost. I have them installed in my Ci and they have AMAZING light output. |
