FS: '01 330ci + S54 Swap
Description
Jet Black 2001 330ci S54 + 6MT Swap (Impressive Auto Center) No LSD 130k on body | 75k on engine & trans (from 2004 M3) -- Macht Schnell Air Filter + Silicone Elbow 18" Kyowa Evolve Wheels + Nankang Tires Raceland Coilovers Reason for selling There is cosmetic damage on the front + rear driver's side fender. Mirror + molding strip need to be replaced as well. Power steering pump (included) needs to be replaced. Needs new battery. Wheels have slight bends & blemishes. I was quoted between $2k-$3k for all repairs, including paint. Original plan was to fix everything, but I need something gas efficient for my 40min commute. I love this car. It was babied until I scraped the driver's side along a sign. With some work, she can get put back together. $7,000 OBO

Dude... that's a LOT more than $2-$3k in repairs.

Pictures of the engine bay would greatly help this ad.

I was quoted by a neighborhood mechanic as a rough estimate. I was lurking for parts but I don't have the time anymore. Junkyard parts or gems in the classifieds can bring the total cost down. Cost of paint will make or break $2-$3k most likely.
Watch the median. I spun out making a long left and while rolling backwards, scraped the driver's side against the sign. It was slow and on the grass, but the power steering went out, so I couldn't turn to avoid the inevitable. Sad day.

Honestly, I have seen that exact type of hit and damage. It's closer to double what you were quoted for bodywork alone, not including damaged mechanical stuff.
Part the car. You'll get probably 5K for the motor alone. Just trying to help you out, not threadcrapping. GLWS |

Yeah man, the car just isn't worth saving at this point. Accidents happen.
Part it out. The motor is low mileage, and could fetch a pretty penny in itself. The same goes for the tranny, assuming it is also at 75k. The right side of the car is intact, so you could sell those panels. Good luck though; sorry about the wreck :/ Last edited by EmDeeAr; 01-08-2013 at 10:14 PM. |

Dang man, I remember when you had gotten the swap done to your car. Good thing you are okay, and def part out. If it was just body work, I would say maybe its sellable to the right buyer, but coupled with mechanical work, def just part.

Hello man am ready to buy the whole car from ya but sure not at this price. I showed the photos to a bodyman and he estimated the double of what u said for only the body work assuming that too many parts needs to bee taken and replaced and a whole paintjob is required thats if there is no pulling issues too. What am interested kn is the swap on it, sadly it has no lsd too
so am buying an incomplete project with an accident too my number is 3137157159 i can be reached way easier there so lets try to make a good deal for this car. |

![]() GLWS op but honestly nobody is going to buy the car as a whole in its condition. I would just part out the motor and move on with it man cause that seems like it'll be more worth while for you atleast.
