In terms of skill set, I've never been out west so can't comment on that whatsoever... but I'm "good" for east coast standards. I don't spend a lot of time in the park but can do standard jumps and can go down almost any slopes without too much trouble. The problem is my current BMC 56 from 2001 has a really narrow stance and is really stiff.. I was looking for an all around mountain board mainly for freestyling and just enjoying the hill.. don't need a park board or a huge mountain powder board

Look at the burton seven if they still make it. True 50/50 stance makes it a nice freestyle/park board but its more than capable in powder and back country.
My newer board is a v rocker custom and its not as good as the seven in the park but its better at everything else. The v rocker is also hella forgiving. No more catching edges

I ride a lib tech attack banana, board is amazing, I would check out lib tech as well. Burton isn't the only board company out there.

I'd pass for that price. If I remember, it's a pretty light but stiff board. It was very expensive at the time but I think technology has caught up.

From personal experience I enjoyed that board more than the banana and custom. It says its for park but its def an all around board. In comparison the banana felt unstable for my liking and the custom was too stiff for me.

Interesting... I'm talking with a guy selling a Love and another selling a Vapor 62 wide... I think I'd prefer the latter but only because it's marketed as "better"

How tall are you? A 162 wide seems like a huge board.

ive always been taught that weight is the more important factor in choosing the length of the board.

Also that Vapor looks to be in great shape, chances are the guy who owned it just bought the best and barely used it.
