He has the right to say what he wants. He could be armed to teeth and speak out against guns. That is HIS RIGHT.

That is true, but I think you are taking his comment a tad too literally.

Really? The ignorant blowhard is just as bad as rush Limbaugh. The difference here is that you agree with him.

Having a visa to be here is not an excuse. Rosie did the same thing. She cried out that guns were bad, yet had armed security posted for her and her family. That is the definition of hypocritical, and what makes it worse is the level of ignorance displayed.

Oddly enough, most of those politicians, celebrities and athletes that qualify as more important are the biggest pieces of crap in our society

Don't you guys think that it's a pretty circular argument?
A person opposes gun possession and happens to be a public figure. They opt to have security around them to protect them from people they deem to be dangerous (other people with guns). To me it's like a standoff. It doesn't change the fact that they are opposed gun possession. I feel that they are simply resorting to having that level of security due to what people are allowed to do in such a "free" country.

There's no end to the argument, I think both sides are simply waiting for the other side to "put down their guns" so to speak but each one is refusing to do so until the other does.

What do I know, I'm only Canadian lol

Sounds like you know about standoffs. Doesn't surprise me when you come from the cesspool of violence and murder known as Canada.

Exactly. In this country, your rights for protection do not change based on your wealth, fame, etc. Everyone has a right to protect themselves.

Oddly enough, those that ask for that same level privately, often time use their public voice to tell you, that you are not as important, why should you protect yourself?
