I worked at Lexus last summer and got to drive a lot of the 2012's and some 13's. They all drive the same pretty much... They all just make me feel like I'm in a camry with a tuxedo on. I will say though that the LS line is incredible...

I don't think it looks that bad. Definitely going for a more aggressive look. In person it seems nice. I will agree with the above, it's quite a snore to drive one.

You picked some really ugly pics. The ones I saw made it look great. Love the new signature grille (everyone else needs to take note on how this is done. Maybe the only other good signature grille besides BMW [Acura and Audi suck]), and everything looks aggressive.

Actually it looks like they did their own take on the Audi grille. I fail to see how one can be great while they other sucks.

And the headlight treatment is horrible.

Manufacturers have recently learned that subtlety does not sell. Look at the new Audi facelifts vs pre-facelifts/the last generation for one stark example.

The front reminds me of a Barracuda fish.

The current model is way better inside and out. Honestly i was expecting a smaller version of the GS.

Interior is sweet. But that exterior... WTF?! When will Japanese designers learn that simplicity far exceeds overly busy hackjob design?! Lexus and Acura have been making their cars ugly as **** since the mid 2000s.

I really don't mind it.

But no second guesses as to where they got the idea for that front grille from....

I would have to see it in person. I saw the new GS F the other day and it looked REALLY sexy!

I kind of like how it looks and the direction Lexus is taking with their line. Only thing It needs is wider rear fenders.

Yeah cause those grills didn't come directly from the e90 parts bin.

Don't know what you mean by this? Which E90 looks anything like that?

It's actually a HSV GTS Series 3... Which is only sold in Aus. But i can see why you would call it a G8, you most likely have never seen a HSV GTS before.

Anyway, back to the lexus!
